Dr. Lillbeck graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2015 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and from the University of the Fraser Valley in 2009 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology.
The health sciences have always held a special intrigue for Chelsea and, not surprisingly, became her favourite subjects in university. This made the decision to become a Chiropractor easy, as she found incredible benefits from her treatments while she was a child coupled with the thirst for knowledge. An active adolescence spent participating in various sports resulted in numerous injuries, all of which were treated and managed by her chiropractor. She jokes that without him “putting her back together,” she wouldn’t have managed to keep up with the extracurricular activities of high school and into university.
While studying and interning in Toronto, Chelsea’s zest for clinical practice and her enthusiasm to help others earned her a placement at both the Sherbourne Health Centre in the inner-city downtown core and with the chiropractor for the national women’s soccer program. She has developed a passion for wellness-centred care and strives to include exercise therapy, rehabilitation programs, nutritional counselling and lifestyle coaching within each patient’s individual management plan. Utilizing a wide variety of manual and soft tissue therapies, Dr. Lillbeck is committed to identifying the uniqueness of each patient and crafting an individualized care plan best suited to that person’s needs.
Dr. Lillbeck was raised in the great outdoors of British Columbia, so when given the opportunity to experience life within the northern boreal forest, surrounded by the beauty of the lakes of the Canadian Shield, she just couldn’t resist! Away from work she enjoys a variety of activities including photography, hiking, volleyball, yoga, basketball, skiing, fishing and swimming.
